Louis Kienne Hotel Pandanaran Semarang is looking for a passionate and experienced Commis to join our Culinary Team.
The Commis will support the daily kitchen operations by preparing ingredients, assisting with food preparation and cooking, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards, and ensuring all food is prepared according to the hotel\'s quality and food safety standards.
Responsibilities:
Assist with food preparation and cooking according to recipes and Chef\'s instructions.
Prepare and handle ingredients while ensuring quality and freshness.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and work areas.
Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
Support the kitchen team during daily operations and service.
Store and handle food ingredients properly according to hotel standards.
Assist other kitchen team members as required to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements:
Minimum Diploma or Vocational School in Culinary Arts, Food & Beverage, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Commis or in a similar position, preferably in a hotel environment.
Good knowledge of food preparation, basic cooking techniques, and kitchen hygiene.
Passionate about culinary and food production.
Able to work well in a team and in a fast-paced environment.
Good attitude, disciplined, responsible, and willing to learn.
Willing to work on a shift basis.
